INITIATIVE: ZERO MATERIAL LOSSES.
Plastic as a raw material is often seen generally critical, especially by environmental protectionists. However we believe that this is an unjust and incomplete assessment. Since the important contribution of polymers in preserving our resources and reduction of greenhouse gasses are frequently forgotten. Amper-Plastik as a processor of plastic resins feels obliged to inform about these advantages and to optimize the considerate handling of all commodities. Consequentially we have joined the initiative “Null Granulatverlust” of GKV TecPart (Federation of German Injection Moulders – Technical Plastic Parts).
This initiative aims to minimize the pollution of the environment by loss of plastic pellets along the complete supply chain and to particularly prevent that raw material is transmitted into rivers and oceans. We at Amper-Plastic support these objectives, and not only since yesterday. In our company technical components are moulded which are very rarely disposed of in the environment. Furthermore a considerate handling of the costly commodity is in our own business interest.
Amper-Plastik is clearly positioned in this subject area and proactively involved. For obtaining the “zero-loss” certificate we ensure to have taken all technical and organizational measures to prevent spillage of the raw material. The personnel in the raw materials warehouse and in production are continuously trained and all taken measures are reviewed biennially.
As a German technology venture in the Plastic Processing Industry we are now part of a global initiative which is supported by several organizations worldwide. This is one part of our contribution to environmental protection and a considerate handling of resources.
